The NY Times we need to see...

This is based on an elaborate spoof, yet is so inspiring that I think I need a pot of coffee and a few hours to explore it further. Have a peek and have fun. (The video pages is worth a look...)

NY Times - July 4, 2009

What do you think?

We spent a couple of hours enjoying this the day it was released.. tried to print it but gave up. Now we have an email out to the 'Yes Men' trying to get a copy. Oh, to leave one in the staff lounge at lunchtime!
I remember this. Some seriously thought it was real. Perhaps someday...
stranger things have come to pass
Nicely done. Orson Welles would be much impressed.
I had heard about this, but hadn't checked it out. Thanks for posting it.

Monsanto advertising ladybugs...

Even if I never see headlines like this in my lifetime, I have to smile at the possibilities.
it will cripple the economy, because businesses will move offshore to more business friendly regimes. america will have a talent drain. it stifles innovation. we can't afford it. it's wishful thinking. it's too socialistic. government is too inept to make it work. it's a pipedream. it's unamerican to appropriate the oil companies. it will never happen.
it makes too much good sense.
Hopefully we will see it soon, since the Iraqis want us out of their country. I love the news footage of 20 thousand Iraqis burning Bush in effigy. I will skip xmas this year for several reasons, not the least of which is poverty, but I will celebrate the inauguration of President Obama.
