Words matter...

I wonder who out there likes poetry. I find that hearing it aloud works best for me. I know Zee, Lindsay and Abhay like it, because they write verse. Anyhow, here's a young man from Vancouver who I love to listen to. (Thanks to my kids for my introduction to Shane.)

Comments? More poetry?

I love poetry and he is GOOD!
(I also love your post title.)

You write words well Beth...

Yeah, interesting young man, isn't he Cheri? He has some slightly raunchy poems on youtube too - fun!

I love this. The moment he said "This is my voice. There are many like it, but this is mine" he had me. Thank you for sharing.

Inspiring. Thank God for people who share their brilliance.

Well, THAT got me crying.

Thank you!

Hi Gary
A Canadian poet who packs a real wallop!!.

I understand he is one of the few poets from outside the USA to win the prestigious USA National Individual Poetry Slam and to finish strongly in the results each year- apart from his many other successful activities.
Best wishes

"I can't help but feel at fault."

Good stuff.

a voice crying out in the wilderness. very moving example of the power of art.

That was beautiful indeed. Sorry it took me a little while to get back to listen.

I am so bad in catching up these days
on those written words, everywhere
they are dots at first, characters
and then they start to make meaning in ways
my apologies my friend, I am outbound leaning
