Something interesting and quick check in...
I'm in Prince Rupert today after the weekend in Vancouver, which was the best. It's sunny here today and I can see (from my hotel balcony) - snow capped mountains, a sunny harbour, misty islands covered in thick cedar forests, one...no make that two eagles and a funky quaint main street. All of that makes it difficult to work.
I'll take some photos and find a cable to download them.

Apologies in advance...
last year's visit to Prince Rupert - from the Crest Hotel windowI'm entering a crazy, interesting time for the next 6 weeks or so. During that time, in addition to eating, sleeping and seeing my kids and friends when I can - I'll be traveling and working. I'll be flying/driving to (the map shows only northern BC): Prince George (X2), Vancouver, Kelowna, Prince Rupert, Terrace, Smithers, Toronto (Amnesty meeting), Quesnel, Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, Vanderhoof, Mckenzie and the Robson Valley.
Are you tired yet? I think I am!

And the winners are...
The weird, but interesting haiku contest is officially closed, prize-wise. I put all the names in my little handmade box (by my daughter, not me). And the winners of the orange t-shirts are:
